Hillary is Vader

I know its been a while. Two jobs later finally afforded some time to think.

An idle mind must be the devil's playground because I got bored and my mind went right to politics. Here's the latest...

Working backward from the conclusion:

Hillary Clinton is a Republican.

I actually wish I could take full credit for discovering this, but George Lucas actually wrote this script years ago. He may even be working as a consultant for the Republic party as we speak. Here are the facts:

1. The current Democratic presidential candidate race is still a heated battle, with only 6 months left until the presidential election. That means neither Hillary nor Obama are actually running for president yet. They're both still running for candidacy on account of a drawn out set of primaries and the importance of super delegates.

2. After 8 years of stomaching W's rule, America is ready for a major change. Logically, a Democrat should waltz in.

3. Iraq is cannot be won. We shouldn't have been there in the first place. We accomplished nothing. We've burn right through our budget surplus and racked up the biggest deficit in history thanks to this blunder.

4. The economy and housing market...nuff said.

So, if 1+1=2, America should open their arms to a visionary, liberal leader. One who wants to make sweeping changes. But that scares people. Especially Republicans, the clear leader in political strategy. (see G.W. Bush)

The Republicans knew Hillary would make a run at office, and have a chance. We all knew. They also knew W would be in office for a while and probably do as well as he did in baseball. They knew that whoever ran in the Democratic seat would win. So they needed a plan.

Enter the divide and conquer mantra.

The only way to beat the Democratic party is to have them segmented into groups smaller than the few remaining red states. And the only way to divide the party is to have someone on the inside.

OK, it's conspiracy theory time. (Keep in mind, George Lucas)

Go back to 1996ish. The US is focused on how our leader cheated with a cigar and congress spent all their time defining words like "cheat" and "is."

While we were all focused on Bill, who was comforting Hillary? She's a strong, intelligent woman, cast in the shadow of a president who appears to give little effort and spend his time chasing other women, yet the economy is booming and American's love life. She wanted to be president, she'd been lobbying for it and then she gets publicly humiliated and left heartbroken.

Remind you of anybody? Anakin Skywalker anyone?

So, the Republics come in, give an offer (only unknown in this story) to Hillary. She joins the Dark Side and the rest is what we have today...

I don't want to vote for McCain, but if Obama can't see this and stop wasting the MILLIONS of dollars in campaign money on battling Hillary's latest sling and start campaigning on real presidential issues...
